Will a video recording of the fracking debate you are sponsoring be available? I can’t make it to the event, but I would REALLY like to see it.
Thanks,
Jordan
Hi Jordan, you can catch the debate live on our website.
Is there any online video after the debate?
No we should not lift the ban, the natural gas companies have to drill a lot of wells to make money, the more wells they drill the more billions of gallons of fresh water is contaminated in the process, the more toxic chemicals are pumped in the ground, the more accidents will happen and the more our ground water will be contaminated, the more cracks in the cement casings that contaminate precious acquifirs, the more methane is released in the air, the more waste-water, and the more ground and water contaminated by the waste, the more earthquakes, the more explosions, the more people get killed, the more air pollution, the more food contamination. Fracking will benefit a few greedy, selfish people who are blinded by the dollar signs, and will harm many. There is no excuse for fracking when we know how harmful it is, and we do have solar and wind options, Germany is doing it!
So glad to see this and will watch it on live stream. I am sharing this info in many places today – please add the physical address for those who are out of the area.
Hi Barbara,
The debate will be taking place at 4.30 pm on the Cornell Campus in 305, Ives Hall which is located at 121, Tower Road.
Will this be available to view even now that the debate is over? I could not find a recorded version on Livestream.
I found it… Ustream not Livestream.
To view the recorded debate, go directly to the Ustream Cornell Sun channel (link below), the channel will probably be “Offline” but the recorded event will be in the right sidebar.
Click on the event in the sidebar and it will open in a new window and you can watch all 87 minutes.
